Syouryu's Suzugami

Unlike ordinary tin sheets, "Suzugami" is an item that can be folded and bent like origami, with less deterioration caused by bending and stretching, due to repeated rolling and rhythmical hammering by skilled craftsmen.

The enjoyment of Suzugami is the pleasure of shaping it by yourself, which is born from the technique of beating with a hammer. It can be used not only for guests, but also as an accessory holder or a small plate, allowing you to enjoy your own unique shape and use.

It would also make a great wedding or house warming gift.

Hi, thanks for setting up Shokunin website so that I can shop Japanese artisan's artwork and items conveniently. Products received are in good condition and I am very happy to use them at home in Hong Kong. Again, thanks for a wide variety of products available on Shokunin website. I love Japanese artisan's artwork and items and your website surely helps me to ship them directly home. Already introduced to family and friends. Will continue to check on your website. Thank you.

Thank you very kindly for your shipment to my US address. I am highly pleased with all of my purchases and will shop again with you soon. What lovely ware to cherish and gift! It is a pleasure to handle and work with your wares. They are practical, high quality, beautifully finished and satisfying to the touch. I will continue to enjoy them for all of their long lifetime and am proud to gift them. They keep all promises and exceed expectations: [Okai Mafu Shoten] Linen Fukin towel dries so well and leaves glassware sparkly clean. [THE] Soy Sauce Cruet will not spill a single drop, however it is handled. [Daiya] Katsubako Brush cleans my fine coffee grinds, disregarding the highly static environment at 7000ft/2000m... and so on. Thank you again! The package arrived in under two weeks and in pristine shape. All items were wrapped with love and incredible attention to detail. The [Seiryugama] Sencha Cup came with a tiny, tiny chip, but that could not have happened in transit. All other items arrived in perfect condition. I have never yet received international shipments in such good shape here. Kudos to your team! I look forward to shopping again. All best to you and Shokunin enterprise.

My patisserie shop.

So far all the products have been great. The peelers are easy to use with either hand (being a lefty), and julienning is nice and easy to do. I'm still learning what technique works best for items like carrots. The soy sauce cruet is a wonder on its pouring and lovely on the table. I'm enjoying its use as well. The Kiribako to hold the large Suzugami and smaller ones I purchased is now a much cleaner and neater storage. Thank you for offering such great products.
