Mr. Samiro Yunoki, born in 1922, became the pupil of the fabric dyeing artist, Mr. Keisuke Serizawa, and actively working as a leading craftsman of stencil dyeing for many years. More than 70 works of his have been stored at the Guimet Museum in France in 2014.
Based on the stencil dyeing made by Mr. Yunoki, Siwa has manufactured a Naoron with Mr. Yunoki's design screen printed on it, retaining the original size. The bag was designed by Mr. Naoto Fukasawa.
The bag is made to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Siwa. Please take in some art into your everyday life by all means.

Soft Naoron
Soft Naoron is a paper developed by our company from wood pulp and polyolefin utilizing the washi-suki paper manufacturing method. It is soft and flexible, highly water-resistant and does not tear easily. Soft Naoron does not emit noxious fumes when burned. As a few lumps of flour may appear, we appreciate if you could periodically remove these lumps with hands.
Hard Naoron
Hard Naoron (recycled PET fiber Naoron) is a paper created using the washi-suki paper manufacturing method from recycled polyester fibers from used plastic bottles and textile products. While having the distinctive texture of paper, it does not tear easily and is highly water-resistant. Hard Naoron does not emit noxious fumes when burned.
SIWA Features
Heavy items can be placed inside. Has been tested for loads of up to 10 kg.

Please ensure that the item does not come into contact with hot items.
Colors may change in the event that the product comes into contact with wet items.
