Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, is famous as a kyusu-producing area. Since the vitrified surface is unglazed, it stores the tea's aroma, and the more it is used, the more the tea will produce pleasant aromas.
Its heat-retaining ability is higher than that of porcelain kyusu and tea incrustations are hardly recognizable. The skin improves with use, turning more lustrous.
We also recommend the yuzamashi, which would match the kyusu.
The tea pot arrived in perfect condition and is beautiful.
It’s high quality and a pleasure to use.
It also arrived to Australia very quickly, which was amazing.
