Yamaichi's Edobitsu

The planing process, which brings out the luster of the wood surface and increases its water resistance, involves many steps. Craftsmen say, "The skin of a tree and the skin of a person are very similar." This is a high-quality tub made using traditional techniques handed down from the Edo period.
